TIM HERRIAGE
Who is Tim Herriage? He is Texas-styled gentleman Real Estate Investor (REI) with a passion for buying and selling property and a desire to share what he has learned. Tim began at the bottom, with no money in the bank and no experience in the field. But with a desire to succeed and a good work ethic, today he is tops in his field and financially secure. If Tim can be successful, he believes you can, too. Tim entered the U.S. Marine Corps after high school and quickly gained prestige as an Intelligence Analyst. He became a leader and received numerous awards. He traveled to over 17 different countries. Meanwhile, his heart was back at home. After five years in the Marines, Tim was drawn back to Northeast Texas, where the heart of seven generations of the Herriage family has been beating for over 100 years. Then, the real adventures began, as Tim discovered the opportunities in real estate. In this field, he soon learned, hard work brings great reward—unlike the rigid salary to which he had been accustomed. From now on he would be his own boss—in control of his own destiny. His self-discipline and diligence, combined with a commitment to excellence have made him an outstanding leader in his career as a REI. Early on, he gained respect and was soon recruited as head of acquisitions for the top Dallas HomeVestors® franchise. Within months, that franchise’s acquisitions increased in volume by 30% and wholesale volume went up 50%. In 2004, he was offered a partnership with Sprint Property Company.  Over the next two years, he successfully acquired and processed over 200 real estate transactions, many of which remain in a portfolio that is appreciating and producing exceptional returns today. Tim took a new partner in the summer of 2006—his new wife, Jennifer—and returned to HomeVestors® to join her in a franchise which rose quickly to be one of the most elite in the system. Together they have won numerous awards, and have been invited to educate, train, mentor and consult with other franchisees across the nation. As a REI, Tim has encountered windfalls and pitfalls. When the Mortgage Market collapsed in 2007, rather than go down with the market, Tim and several colleagues capitalized on this decline. They formed Cynergy Real Estate Partners, LLC, a company that specializes in private offerings for real estate investments in the North Texas area.  In early 2010, as momentum revived, Tim created DFWInvestors.com, an online (REI) community focused on education and networking. In 2011, the first REI Expo was born. Through these seminars, Tim candidly shares his experiences. Tim enjoys his work as a Development Agent for HomeVestors® of America; he enjoys teaching, but he also remains active in this business. Through Herriage Holdings, LLC dba HomeVestors®, he aggressively invests, purchasing and processing five to ten houses a month. Because he practices his skills on the cutting edge of today’s real estate market nationwide, he is a credible mentor and incredible example to those who would do the same Tim is actively involved with product development and creation within the real estate investor space. These products include consulting with B2R Finance, America’s Buy to rent leader. There is a force behind his effectiveness. Family comes first. He and his wife, Jennifer, and their sons, Alex and Will, make their home in Rockwall, Texas.
